Meet Anna
Having a child with Special Educational Needs can feel incredibly overwhelming. Unfortunately, the system isn’t always designed to make accessing the right support easy, especially with the increasing demands placed on families today.
When our son was diagnosed with autism at just 3 years old... that was 19 years ago, I committed to giving him the best support and provisions possible. Along the way, I’ve faced and won numerous legal battles, challenging the DWP, the Local Authority, and even the Department for Education. One of my proudest achievements was securing an EHCP (Education Health Care Plan) for our son on the very day he started nursery at a mainstream school.

Over the years, I’ve worked with legal professionals but also equipped myself through training with the National Autistic Society (NAS) and completed Levels 1 and 2 of IPSEA’s legal training. This has given me a broad and in-depth understanding of the SEN landscape.

Now that our son is 22, I’m in a position to use my knowledge, experience, and passion to support other parents and carers. Whether it’s guidance on SEN provisions, navigating the EHCP process, or simply being a listening ear.... I'm here to help others feel less alone on their journey.
